About Us
Inka Trails is owned by Patty and Frank Rodriguez. Inka Trails allows Patty the opportunity to share the heart of her culture: the wonderful cuisine; which has been a huge part of her world since she was a little girl growing up in Peru. She became privy to the restaurant business at a very young age in her parents restaurants. It was there that Patty learned that owning a restaurant is not only about serving food but more importantly it is about creating a welcoming and poignant experience for the customers. Although Patty learned the satisfaction of running a successful business she also witnessed the devotion and dedication of long hours it takes. Even still Patty, never one to be discouraged, always kept this dream close to her heart.
It was actually Patty’s husband, Frank Rodriguez, who suggested
the idea that Patty start her own restaurant. With the help
of Patty’s father and mother
who have owned many restaurants themselves; Inka Trails became a reality. Patty
believes her success is attributed not only to her optimistic attitude but
also to the love and support of Frank and her children.
Today, Inka Trails, the restaurant Patty has owned since 2000,
has become one of Claremont’s favorite dining spots. People
are always dotting over the wonderful
food and excellent service. The satisfied looks on the customer’s faces as
they leave the restaurant really says it all. This is a place to not only
satiate your hunger but your curiosity for the exotic as well.
Patty and her staff
are
always glad to discuss in the nuances of Peruvian cuisine and culture with
any one curious enough to ask. At the end of the day the success of Inka
Trails, through out the years, gives Patty an indescribable
satisfaction. It’s the
feeling
one feels when a dream and much hard work bring forth into fruition.
